How long was the wait from your status change to "decision made" and your phone call?

Anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours

Thanks for the info! I'm thinking they made decisions late in the day today, and will call acceptances next week, maybe Monday and Tuesday. Keeping hope alive!

I believe in the power of positive thinking, but that does not mean I'm not realistic. Whatever the decision is, acceptance, rejection, or waitlist, I am fully prepared to deal with it. That said, there are numerous instances where a status change was made, and a call was received days later, just look through the entirety of this forum. I enjoy having this forum to connect with others who find themselves in similar situations as myself; we law school applicants need a place to share our stories, whether they be good, bad, or ugly! So best of luck to everyone on here: those with decisions in the mail and those still waiting for some kind of an answer!

I don't know how long my status was like that. I was actually on the page when the phone rang, it was a little eerie.

Did you receive an email saying that your app is complete, and have you received a status checker? That's about all you can do/all you need at this point. If you haven't received those emails yet, then definitely contact them.

Hate to tell you this, but that's a pretty bad sign (unless you were very late submitting). I heard back from FSU in about a week, and that was with a GPA a little below median and LSAT a little above.

I'm thinking it might be may before we hear back...last year the app deadline was April 15th I think, and most holds (for better or worse) saw movement afterward. In the event we are accepted, anyone taken a glance at housing? Are there any 2/2s by the law school that aren't in the ridiculous mold of that old school place?

Presently the admissions committee has made approximately 70% of the admissions offers for the fall class which means we still have many seats to offer to strong applicants.

This is from an email I got from my prelaw listsevre in explaining that FSU extended app deadline. There is hope!!!
