I got accepted today off of the waitlist! I had only been on it for about a week--didn't send any LOCI or anything like that. Excited to visit the campus/potentially meet all of you this Fall! Has anyone had any luck negotiating scholarships? My acceptance email didn't mention anything, but I figure my odds are low since I am coming off of the WL. However, I might as well try and leverage my full ride at IU Indy and see what happens. What do you all think? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey all, FYI there is an admitted students page where you can advertise and look for housing this summer and fall:

--LinkRemoved--

Just click on "Housing Information" in the right-hand sidebar.

Under Furnishing Rental, I found this little gem:

Raper's Rent to Own 482 S. Liberty Dr. 812-323-8020

Haha, why'd you edit it? I found it funny, was just too busy studying for a final to respond. Classy name tho; wonder what marketing class those fools took and thought that was a good idea..haha.

Raper also has RVs. That's not terrifying at all...

I just edited it to be short and sweet, but ya that place has the most ridiculous name ever.

You gotta be kidding me, this is something I'd expect to be operating deep in the foothills of West Virginia. Well at least it's attention getting, so maybe we are fools/victims to ingenious rather than creepy/odd naming.

Congrats on getting off the waitlist! I suppose this confirms that it is definitely appropriate for me to give them a call on Monday since I still haven't heard anything back on my application after 3 some months...

While researching a Brewdog beer I'm currently enjoying, I just found this other monster they produce.

http://www.brewdog.com/sink_the_bismark

Coincidental name for those who went to Nick's during SLD, and amazingly 41% abv! Supposedly coming to the US soon.

An email about summer financial aid for you summer starters was sent today. It also gives breakdown of some expenses and when we should receive our actual financial aid awards with breakdown in loans.

I heard back from the admissions office yesterday regarding my request for consideration for merit aid. They aren't able to offer me anything this late in the game, so I am withdrawing. Hopefully that will open up a spot for someone else who really has their heart set on IUB!

Is anyone still looking for a roommate for Fall? I'm hoping to live with 2-4 people if possible, gender indifferent. I'd like to be as close to the law school as possible and not pay more that $700/month. If you still need a 3rd or 4th or 5th roommate please PM me. :)

PS: Sorry if others have already posted similar things (I didn't want to search through all 60 pages of this thread).

Nobody is posting anymore. Have we all lost our excitement about law school? Or (much worse) have all the cool kids started a super exclusive forum that I am just unaware of.

In all seriousness, I am sure that many of you are busy with the exciting graduation processes. Congratulations to you all!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
