I'm wondering when the emails for JR1s for the complete 11/19 group will come out - and desperately hoping I'll get one. This thread makes me want to get in so badly..

Yup, went under review 11/17 and got the JR1 today.

I haven't gone complete yet. I went under review on 11/17. My app was sent on 10/26 but my last LOR didn't come in to LSAC until 11/7.

I dunno. I agree with what puppins said about dying a little inside every time someone gets a JR1 or JR2 when I haven't had either, but really I'm just so excited for everyone who is in. So much WIN in this thread.

It's definitely great to see people who worked so hard get such a great achievement. But everytime I look at LSN I get a little bit sad.

But who cares? This thread is a CELEBRAAAAATION BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCHES.

So after quickly glancing at last year's LSN sorted by decision date, it looks like the biggest wave of acceptances was on 11/25 (which would have been the equivalent of today) and included basically everyone who submitted before the last week of October. The people accepted on 11/26 (the equivalent of tomorrow) are almost universally those who applied in very late October / early November.

Given that I applied on 9/15, I can only assume this means I will be one of the unlucky few to get a pre-Thanksgiving JR1 and not get a JR2. Had to happen to someone I guess.

aw im still confident you'd get one crackberry. JR doesnt seem to be doing anything diff from TS, and so far everything has been going 'according to expectations' based on the last 2 prior cycles.

last yr's TS2 thread, there were a few people who had early TS1's and late TS1's even (relative to thanksgiving) who were not in either the 11/25 or 11/26 batch, and they were pretty bummed...not to get your hopes up (but to keep hope very much alive!), ALL of them ended up getting one in the early december wave (at least all the ones who bothered to post saying they had a TS1 and no TS2).

Still waiting on my JR2 - I had my JR1 email on 10/19, interview should have been 10/22 but I had to reschedule to 11/02. I live overseas, not sure what that does for the whole time zone theory, but I'm still pulling for a pre-Turkeyday call and am decently confident.

You'll get your JR2... LSN and TLS are too small a sample to make those kinds of predictions.

On another note, I appreciate everyone's support. I'm not one to have a defeatist attitude about things, but I will admit that this has been a tough day. Anyway, congrats again to everyone who's been admitted and I hope I can say the same about myself sometime this week.

Definitely feel for everyone still working their way through the Harvard system. If I can offer any solace, it's to people who are worried that they'll get dinged for some error in the app. I completely ignored Harvard's requirements section for PSs and was sick about it for weeks. My font size and margins were acceptable, but I forgot to single space and was scared to death that the review committee would think I was trying to circumvent the 2-page limit. Obviously, it was not a deal breaker for me, so if you just have a typo or missing word don't beat yourself up. Best of luck!

4. I had my JR1 on 11/6. Looking at LSN, I think my GPA is the problem here. I'm not a splitter (except at Yale), but I guess my GPA doesn't fall in the "admit before Thanksgiving" bucket either.
