my two favorite things, maybe ever. wish i could have em at work.........

eta alcoholism isn't great so I'd skip the wine but I'd really appreciate an emotional support cat rn
I like cats but I love dogs more. Am I about to get ostracized
maybe on another day we'd ostracize you but standing in the middle of a ding hurricane together requires solidarity and compassion
I did save a baby feral cat from a bully adult male in hawaii this past week, so do I get some kittie kudos for that?

Hm. LSN does seem to indicate that they are moving in roughly chronological chunks for the ding waves.

I really don't think the chron. thing can be right. I submitted in November and haven't heard anything.

Or it could mean that you're in the running for admission

Right, but that may be because you're not getting dinged :D

The ding wave yesterday was November thru Jan 15ish. Today so far it's only post-Jan 15. But, who knows. It does seem to vaguely correlate tho

Well I mean, I think the above theory/poster is not guaranteeing that you're an admit. Just noting that there's a vague correlation occurring which could generally indicate something

I mean, not totally useful but it does seem to be 'a thing'

Same. Complete December but solidly sure I'm not anywhere near being considered for admission

But you were also the first woman to be nominated by a major party, and the first woman to win the popular vote. Those are some impressive softs.

Nah, I know, I'm just trying to show that they might not be going this way. Could be a third thing they're using too. Just trying to give all as much info to obsess over as possible.

Yeah but this is TLS, where everyone knows softs don't matter

There seems to be a lull right now. But yesterday, the emails kept coming until 8.40 EST (iirc).

FWIW:
No dings for March completes so far, as far as I can tell from LSN and TLS, and only one admit (maybe a presumptive?). My conclusion is that nothing can be concluded regarding late submitters, they just haven't gotten around to us yet.

But it's only a few days of reprieve I suspect ..

That's the vibe I'm getting, too.

At least we've started seeing a method to the madness?

Two waves yesterday, about 5 hours apart. Will be interesting to see if that happens again today.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
