From the Michigan facebook page
"Hello admits!
FinAid has now contacted everyone who was admitted up to mid-January. If that is you and you have not seen an email from FinAid, then (check your spam and) feel free to call either Admissions or FinAid and we can get you sorted out. Folks admitted in the second half of January are currently being processed by FinAid and will hear soon. Moving forward admits can expect to hear from FinAid re: merit scholarships within 1-2 weeks of receiving the offer of admission."

Super strange, was admitted 12/23 but didn't get any financial aid notification. Guess I'll call their office later today.chargers21 wrote:From the Michigan facebook page

Same exact story here. Just called, waiting for response. Not a great look for the admissions office to be honest.premalone wrote:Super strange, was admitted 12/23 but didn't get any financial aid notification. Wow, extra strange, but that makes me feel better! I'll hold off on calling for a bit in case it's just some issue with their email server or something.

I would recommend everyone also check the financial aid and communication sections of the admitted students website to see if they have something theredg1090 wrote:Same exact story here. Re: Michigan c/o 2020 applicants (2016-17)
Just got off the phone. Make sure you call the Law FinAid Office, just to be sure. But I got:
"Yeah, you are not the only person who has called since the Facebook post went up. Just give me your full name, and you should have an email from us by today, latest tomorrow."
Somehow I knew I wouldn't hear back until today anyway so *shrug*

Just got off the phone as well and got the same response, they're just a little behind.
Update from Facebook group: "Spoke to soon. It seems like a couple of people's email got stuck in the pipeline. You don't need to call us right now. We'll get it figured out this afternoon."
Fingers still crossed!

Did you have it on a weekend? Mine was on a Saturday and I got the offer on a Monday (16 days). I wouldn't worry though, somebody in this chain said that they were a little behind schedule because of issues with the interview recordings.playersball wrote:Anyone else past the 2 week window after their Darrow intrview?not sure if this is a good or bad sign

Re: Michigan c/o 2020 applicants (2016-17)
After all the talk about hearing back about financial aid this week for January folks (admitted ~10 days ago), I got pretty excited when I saw an email from the Office of Financial Aid yesterday. Unfortunately it was this:
"The University of Michigan must provide certain consumer information about the university to prospective and entering students in accordance with federal regulations set forth by The Higher Education Act as amended.
Please visit http://finaid.umich.edu/consumerinformation to view this information.
If you need help finding the information on this website or you need a paper copy, please contact our office. You may also download a PDF version of this information at the web address listed."
Thanks for the roller coaster of emotions UMich.

If it makes you feel any better, I sent in all my applications during Thanksgiving break and only just received my decision on Feb 1, so that was a little over two months of waiting. Chin up, guys! You've got this!goldenbear2020 wrote:Incomplete - In Process since Dec. score, so coming up on a month.Monday wrote:I'm past 4 weeks.blelwoods wrote:I'm about to hit 4 weeks Incomplete-In Process...futureellewoods123 wrote:I'm still Incomplete-In Process for at least 2 weeks nowMonday wrote:Submitted earlier but still "Incomplete - In Process."VinnyGambini Jr. wrote:Submitted January 4. Has anyone called/emailed about an incomplete? I was complete for two months now back to incomplete. I did send a LOCI & Recommendation after receiving that "we reviewed you but have no decision" email. Maybe that's why?
