Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
Checking in with another WL! Definitely going to ride it out, putting down a deposit at HLS in the meantime. Is there a consensus on whether it's worth it to send another LOCI? I sent one in the form of an e-mail in the beginning of March containing some updates on what I'd been doing at my job and reaffirming my interest in SLS. Since then there have been a few developments at my job, but if I were to send a further LOCI it would be primarily to express my interest in attending SLS rather than to provide substantive updates on my situation. Also for people who have sent LOCIs, did you send them as e-mails or attachments to e-mails?

DLS today. How exactly do I go about asking if it's a ding or WL?

Been Complete since 1/17. Obsessing over the checker is destroying my productivitytappatappatappa wrote:How many of us are left out here? I'm still here, but given I didn't make the Yale WL I'm not expecting a Stanford WL offer eithertappatappatappa wrote:How many of us are left out here? I assumed I'd be getting a request for one after filling out the response form, but you might be rightbuffy123 wrote:Is there a Harvard deposit? Nope, HLS got rid of the deposit a few years ago. You should just get a confirmation email after you submit the form. Also, I would send a LOCI as an attached pdf. It's a bit easier for them to print out and handle that way.skywalker446 wrote:I assumed I'd be getting a request for one after filling out the response form, but you might be rightbuffy123 wrote:Is there a Harvard deposit? Still here, no change since my file was "submitted for review" 12/22.

Has anybody found info on waitlist statistics? I'm seeing a wide range of stats from posters in previous threads

Complete since 10/6. At this point, I'm thinking they're considering me with next year's batch. or maybe for 2035

I think they are just deciding whether or not to WL us or to outright ding us. Are there literally any other schools that are taking this long to send out decisions?

Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
Someone got accepted two days ago, so it doesn't sound like its ALL bad news. But the vast majority of us will be WL/ding; a similar thing happened last year, on the 29th and 30th. On the bright side, we really got our money's worth from the application fee - ~half a year of consideration! SWEET!!YCDAACH wrote:I think they are just deciding whether or not to WL us or to outright ding us. Are there literally any other schools that are taking this long to send out decisions?

I've been complete since the last week of September. Seems like they have to know they're dinging/WLing me already. Put me out of status checker misery.
