Ditto to those above, I read it as "Thank God we're done for the week" (two decision days). Plus, they're #sooverdecisionfridaymonkeyKT wrote:Twitter basically announced their decision friday fyi

The poor staff member who called me yesterday said "Have a great night!" It was still morning. I think they're tired.nickhalden wrote:Ditto to those above, I read it as "Thank God we're done for the week" (two decision days). When I got my call yesterday, I relayed how much I loved their tweeting. She laughed and said how much fun they have with the process, which is wonderful to hear as an applicant (particularly a TLS applicant). I love how professional and fun Penn Law is, and it seems nowhere is this typified better than in the AdComm.hillz wrote:The poor staff member who called me yesterday said "Have a great night!" That's what I thought. I thought they were celebrating getting decisions out yesterday so they can leave at 5 today. Although that would be in poor taste (hooray for dashing people's dreams!), and they're probably smarter than that. Who knows.limeo wrote:Or their excitement for the weekend? I can't tell. How does Prompt 3 for the Levy Essay differ all that much from a Why Penn?
It feels silly to spend 1-2 pages boasting about accomplishments.

The only people who can answer you is the competition. Not sure why they would, to be honest. Not a lot of Levy's out there.

Penn's need based application is due March 1st - do applicants who don't yet know if they have been admitted/WL/rejected also have to submit? Berkeley sent me an email asking that I submit their individual need based application even though they haven't told me what my application status is.

I'm not positive, and maybe people have better insight, but when I submitted NeedAccess and FAFSA for other schools, I included every school I was applying to so I'd only have to submit once, so I assume that they can receive the files even before you've been admitted.dlrkgml wrote:Penn's need based application is due March 1st - do applicants who don't yet know if they have been admitted/WL/rejected also have to submit? Is there a limit to how many schools you can indicate ? I seem to remember something like ten but I applied to more schools than that

You can submit 10 schools for the FAFSA. You can enter in 16 schools at a time on NeedAccess, but then after you pay for it, go back and delete schools and resubmit to apply to new schools.kendallr12 wrote:

Seconded - also for FAFSA you should separate by which schools require parent info and which ones don't. Berkeley, UVA, GW all require parent info on FAFSA even though you are a graduate student and FAFSA will tell you that you technically do not have to.hillz wrote:You can submit 10 schools for the FAFSA. Sorry to change topic, but what do people think the chances are of an admissions wave this week? It looks like a lot of us went UR2 last week so that seems like a promising sign.

Without being too bold, I would say it is almost guaranteed. Penn has had weekly decision days since the first one (excepting the two holiday weeks and the week of 1/19-1/23) and there are still ample candidates left to decide on (47 pending UR2s on TLS).lawapp1 wrote:Sorry to change topic, but what do people think the chances are of an admissions wave this week?
