DLS sometime between now and last night. Complete mid-October. 25<LSAT<50<GPA<75

Boooooooo. I'm sorry. (I've got the same stat window, but a much later complete date.)

When I was applying to Ph.D. programs years ago, Northwestern sent me a ding that was written so politely and empathetically it almost made me want to apologize to THEM for having to reject me. Stanford, on the other hand, just said (paraphrasing) "Thanks for your application. You have not been accepted." I thought they just needed to add at the end "Have a nice life, loser" to make the experience complete.

I'm waiting for the reprise of my Stanford Ph.D. app right now. At least my Ph.D. rejection was very, very fast (two weeks after submission )! Absolutely NO room for misguided hope there, haha.

What PhD program? I am a current PhD student at Stanford (albeit on leave of absence)

If someone was complete around Feb have they reviewed me once and I am in a pile of maybes? Just trying to figure out where I am and if excitement at my non-ding is warranted...

Likewise. Rejections and acceptances from all kinds of submission dates. Now we are being slowly parsed next to each other... Awaiting the DLS, the 650, or another day of torment.

I am such a bad Cardinal...I can't get into football really. I went to all of them in 2010-11 and 11-12 but my attendance dropped off significantly after that.

I am such a bad Cardinal...I can't get into football really. I went to all of them in 2010-11 and 11-12 but my attendance dropped off significantly after that.

It doesn't help that the experience isn't great even when the team is. Stanford finished both of those seasons with top ten ranking and a BCS bowl trip and yet the stadium's nickname (given by the players) was and still is "The Library"

Hah, I've never heard that nickname. I guess I've never been to a game anywhere else but Stanford and Cal so I don't have a great basis for comparison.

I went to the Fiesta Bowl actually! That was a depressing experience...
