I'm gonna keep checking it. Wallowing in self-pity/loathing is becoming an important part of my morning routine.

For those who don't want to check the status checker anymore, you'd probably be fine getting away with that.
I was accepted via status checker on Friday, and received my admissions packet the very next day -- and the letter was dated a day earlier than I learned of my acceptance (which makes sense, given that the status checker updates overnight).
So, if you don't mind waiting an extra day or two, go ahead and abandon the checker.

I am going to do this and pretend I didn't apply.

Idk if i's appropriate to share this since so many people are still waiting to hear back but my fiance called me while I was at work yesterday to let me know that a big envelope from Michigan had arrived so I dashed home like a madwoman, thinking it was scholarship info...

Just got my offer from Michigan with an incredibly quick turnaround from acceptance. Not what I was hoping for, but it's something.
