sooo not that this is relevant to anything, but I know there are a lot of suits watchers in this thread and HOLY CRAP this dude on UVA law's front page of their website seriously looks like a young Louis Litt or maybe it's just me



(he's on the front page bc he's going to be a supreme court clerk)
(I'm seriously impressed by his academic credentials but also the Louis Litt thing)

I've applied to S, CCN, MVP, Duke and Cornell. only a few more to go. got my Duke PT decision on friday but this year it's a weird "provisional" acceptance thing which makes it kinda like an undergrad likely letter bc they only officially accept you after an interview in January i.e. forever. also have a UVA interview next week so we'll see how that goes.

I'm def an admissions gunner but hoping to follow in your footsteps once I actually get to lawl school

Aw hooray, and yea Duke makes sense though since that whole PT thing seemed so difficult to maneuver around as an adcomm there.

But yes, my advice would be to get to move in at the beginning of the month, and then go out every night until school starts. You have nothing to do, and I honestly knew half of the class at least before orientation even started because I went out 20 nights in a row (pats self on back). Law school is more work than undergrad (if you were lib arts) since you can't just phone it in, but honestly it's reading. Some people are spending so much time doing all of this crazy stuff, but it's like, I'm only focusing on things that will get me points on the three exams I have in a few months. And then random writing assignments pop up like now ugh, but those are few. Keep me updated on your cycle

All the more reason to go out when it's early and somewhat awkward for everyone so that you don't get lost in the shuffle. Things get cliquey almost immediately.
