That is weird - from my (extensive) stalking of this thread, it seems that nearly everybody, including myself, had a UR change either the day of the interview, or the day after.
Yeah, so did I. Midwest went:
UR
Interview
UR Change (day of or day after)
UR change today
I didn't get the last one

Just got an interview request! So happy. Can someone link me to the information about the interview/questions?..I know it's been posted but for some reason I can't find it.

Congrats!
For those still waiting for a request/update, a wave of interviews is on the way. Chicago just (~2 hours ago) tweeted: "We're having a great time meeting so many unique applicants. Perhaps we should get to know a few more of you."

Who knows, maybe decisions are coming out real soon as well. I say this because the last wave of decisions came out shortly after a wave of invites.

Judging from past data on LSN, we've got a ways to go before the next round of decisions. Everyone reported receiving on the same day in February, and it was several weeks after the January wave. I'm not getting my hopes up for another two weeks or so.

Had my skype interview sometime this week. Just want to thank TLS as the questions were pretty much word for word the same as posted in this thread. Thought it went pretty well compared to my H interview (and I still managed to get in to H) so fingers crossed

Your JS1 sucked and you still got in? This is comforting news.

I'm sure lots of people get in even though they had regrets about their interviews. There are probably a lot of people who feel more nervous about interviewing with Harvard than interviewing for a job--there's only one Harvard and there are plenty of employers. I bet JS understands that and cuts people slack if they've got good things going on in other parts of their app.

Had my Skype today; it went pretty well! Does anyone know typically how long after the interview one hears back with a decision? (Apologies if this has been asked and answered already; I can only keep up with so many threads at once.)

Have you been to the spreadsheet compendium stickied in the A/D/W forum? It will have all the answers you seek.

But if you filter the spreadsheets, God will kill a kitten!

Sorry, I am ignorant with all these TLS terms but what is a Ruby?
Also, what is a YP?
There should be an acronym thread. (I looked for one...)

Ruby=Rubenstein full scholarship at Chicago
YP= Yield protection; when schools waitlist high-numbered applicants because they think they will not accept an offer, and therefore would be hurting their yield by admitting them

This. Also it was my first skype interview, and there's no real way to prep for JS compared to a job interview where you know what the employer is looking for. JS was very nice though and it was conversational rather than the 21 question survey style employed by Chicago.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
