Complete 1/24.
Did anyone who interviewed on campus stay in touch? I sent a thank you, but I am considering sending a followup. Thoughts? I know likely people will say not too but I thought this could be a good idea so I am sending out feelers!

Once the interview evaluation is turned in, your interviewer has no more effect on your application (unless you interviewed with somebody important on the committee, I suppose) so sending further communications won't hurt or help you. That being said, absolutely follow up if you have further questions. Particularly if your interviewer was a current student, I'm sure they would be happy to hear from you and answer any questions.

Ah, well I still don't think it would make a difference either way honestly. But I could be wrong.

Well...I just got back from my interview and realized my fly was open the entire time.
Don't think I'll be seeing any of you come fall. Good luck.

I was just emailed my off campus interview request and it's 265 miles away. Is this normal for the distance to be so far?

Eep, that seems really prohibitive. But then again better than having to be required to meet in Chicago...str8yolked wrote:My friend's interview was about the same distance.LoganFL wrote:I was just emailed my off campus interview request and it's 265 miles away. It's all the way in South Florida and I'm in North. Seems strange they don't have anyone here or in Central Florida.gbelle wrote:That seems really strangeLoganFL wrote:I was just emailed my off campus interview request and it's 265 miles away. Is this normal for the distance to be so far?

If you really can't have your interview 265 miles away just email them, ask perhaps for a skype interview instead.LoganFL wrote:It's all the way in South Florida and I'm in North. They may have just scheduled that in order to get you an interview much quicker than having to wait for interviewers closer to become available. Just a guess.LoganFL wrote:It's all the way in South Florida and I'm in North. The earlier the better obviously, but I need to know when I should be compulsively hitting F5 on my status checker.
Deadlines
On-campus interview completion deadline is December 15
Off-campus interview request deadline (via submitting an application): December 1
Application completion deadline is January 15
Decisions available by February 1
Enrollment deposit deadline is March 15
Edit: last year on NU Law admissions's facebook page they indicated AJD decisions were being released on Feb. 1. This year that date's a saturday, so i'm guessing it will be friday this year.

Wow, good to know. Thanks!
Now if I could just keep this flu going, I won't have to divide my time between work and F5ing my status checker.
