If today is the day... when should we expect to start hearing info, regardless of FR or UR status?
Well I'll start clinging to my seat around 1 p.m. eastern, and will stop around 9 or so.
Although it really won’t surprise me if there is nothing but silence today.
Good Luck, I love you all.

Rejected yesterday
Is a really good public school like Berkeley just crazy hard to get into out of state? I was well above the 75th percentile for both LSAT and GPA, and my softs were good enough to get into Columbia, Penn and NYU. Similar thing happened to me at UVA (wait list)

Checking in. UR since 1/13.
Just had a freak out moment: Went to Berkeley for undergrad. Just got a call from a (510) number and picked up frantically and asked "Hello!! Oh my gosh!! Is this who I think it is?" thinking it was the law school. Apparently, it was just student services calling me back to tell me how to get my W-2 for tuition. Made for an awkward conversation.

You should have just played it off! W-2s can be super exciting.

YP
could be, or could be intangible factors over which you have no control. pretty sure berkeley, like higher-ranked S and Y, is regarded as something of a black-box, often rejecting perfectly [over-]qualified applicants right off the bat (as in, no W/L, which I think WOULD indicated YP). take a peek at past cycles on lsn, or even earlier posts on this thread - it's unfortunately all too common. (sorry about the ding, btw)

Looking over yesterday's bloodbath on LSN is really disheartening. So many good numbers.
Sorry again to everyone who was dinged or WLed - you'll end up somewhere great next year!

I'd even take phoenician scrawl on clay tablets, at this point.
I'm betting against today.
Any takers?

Sooooo my application status has been updated today and says "A decision has been reached". Yet no email or phone call. Does anyone have any indication what that means?
Edit: Never mind, got dinged lol

Reading last year's thread, only one person mentioned having been admitted straight from UR after FR1 decisions.
For most of us, it is going to be a couple more weeks.
