10/18 here. I figure they're trying to decide which building to name after me.

I'll be 30 when classes start, am I going to feel really out-of-place? I'm single and kind of a nomad, but I feel like I'll be out of place if I'm the only "old" dude there.
Congrats on the scholarship!
30 is definitely going to put you among the older folks here, but you won't be alone. In all honesty, there are probably only a handful or so that are in their 30s starting 1L year, but there are a lot of late 20-somethings. You won't be ostracized for being 30 (at all), but if you are going to be really uncomfortable just knowing that most of your classmates are 5 years younger, then I can't really help you there--except by saying that most law schools probably consist of mostly 20-somethings.
That was the answer I was hoping to hear. My classmates being younger than me doesn't bother me in the least, but never having been older than average in any group it's new territory for me. If my 25-year-old classmates won't care, I sure won't either.
ASW... 10 days. w00t!
Thanks!

Thanks! Not feeling very positive about this one

I have a sinking feeling I'll be finding another waitlist in my mailbox in a couple of days here.

Complete 12/1 still no word. I think they just assume I already know I am in and don't want to waste precious time notifying me, or wasting any paper mailing me the acceptance packet. Very thoughtful of them.

no negative thoughts. some people withdrew after being disappointed by scholly amounts, so now they have a seat and some $ with your name on it.

for those of you who have been accepted--did all of you get an email from fedex, or just some people? my decision was mailed yesterday (3/7) after a long wait (12/6 complete date) and i'm wondering if not having received an email is indicative of a WL or rejection.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
