First couple weeks of January, IIRC

But Darrow invites (you write an essay or something) go out in December.

I got the email recognizing they have received my app. Anyone has an idea how long will it take before I can get my status checker after the email?

The financial information section of the accepted students website says it'll be updated in Jan/Feb. I don't think anyone has gotten any offers yet.

To be fair, I didn't get a status checker email yet. I am previously affiliated with UMich, and my old UMID works with the status checker link in the OP.

We agree you'll add a lot of diversity to our student body!" So keep that in mind. Apparently PS's do matter. Unless she was just being froggy.

I'm pretty sure she writes a positive note on everyone's acceptance letter. I'm not saying that the PS doesn't matter, but I don't think you should take this as evidence that Michigan weighs them more heavily than other schools.

Yeah, at this point my best guess is that we've probably been WLed. I'll probably stop checking ASW/status checker at the end of the month.

Yes. I received the "received" e-mail on 11/07 and am still without. On the 28th I will call, since it will have been 4 weeks, and that is what the e-mail seemed to indicate should be the appropriate time frame.

Not gonna lie, that hurts. I'm not sure what put them off my application which makes it all the more difficult.

Yeah. I mean I don't really care since I already got $$ from V (and larger than what M would have given me if no Darrow invitation) and don't have much real desire to go to a non-t6 school.
