Maybe with all these decisions some of us will finally go UR now?? I submitted early Nov. Didn't go complete until early Dec. and have heard nothing since.

Yeah, this is essentially the e-mail I received. I'm also "Under Committee Review" 1/7 so, I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Could it really be YP? I didn't think my stats were THAT amazing.

Has anyone with a second UCR date of 1/5 heard? I would assume no, but. . . .

I don't think it's YP. I think it's really that they're still reviewing your file. I got the same, and I only hit 1 of the medians. You obviously have a complex file, didn't do the optional essays or maybe your PS is bad? If it was YP, they'd WL you.

Yeah, I don't have the world's best PS by any means. Also, LSAC screwed up my CAS report so no schools have been able to see the transcripts of the last 41 credits I've taken. The problem should be amended by Monday, so maybe this was a factor?

(Penn was my first choice, btw, which is why I'm so bummed and jealous)

There have been several dings, so if you haven't heard anything you jumped through some hoops. The acceptance calls have all been earlier dates, so maybe yours will be coming next week. Good luck!

Yea it might not be YP because I'm only above 1 median. I did the 5-year plan essay though. My PS is a bit unconventional, but I think it pushed me into Berkeley with unlikely numbers, so I don't know what to infer.

...same dates and almost same numbers (just +1 on LSAT)...please let me be in that call pile Penn!
I wrote an essay for them because I thought it was flat out required? I threw something together, kind of sloppy IIRC=/ but we'll see...

12/23 here too. It's my 2nd UR though. Kind of wondering why I was passed up and not given any sort of decision. Seems like everyone else who had 2 URs got some kind of communication.
