You assume that because no one on TLS has posted about a call that BU didn't call anyone at all. :) I'm sure there have been other decisions we just aren't aware of.

I honestly believe it would be better for my health to withdraw all of my applications. I can't handle this constant panic every time my phone rings, every time I get an email and every time I check my mailbox. BU, you and four other schools are killing me.

Has anyone checked his/her application status through this website - http://www.bu.edu/law/prospective/apply ... cker/form/ ? I'm thinking about submitting a request.

So you're saying that if we submit a request, we will be accepted less than a week later???? Jackpot.

A bunch of us did and they sent a generic "application is complete and under review" message.
Although I also got accepted less than a week later. :P

I thought this was odd:

I got an email from BU today asking me to explain my misdemeanor from a few years ago. Then they requested court documents. I already submitted an addendum that explains it. No other school has asked for this.

Also, if they wanted this info why not ask sooner? I've been complete since November.

How serious/silly was the misdimeanor? I only ask because I have one too and am wondering if I will get the same request.

For those that submitted the request, did you meet their guidelines? My application was recieved 11/23, but I have only been complete since Jan. 19 due to Dec. LSAT (so it will only be 4 weeks). Probably too soon for an inquiry?

I'd take this as a positive development. They wouldn't pursue it unless you were in a situation where you are accepted not-withstanding the criminal record. Unless it is something that would cause you to flunk C&F, you are probably in.

I have a DUI and they haven't said anything.

Iowa was the only school to mention it at all

Yeah, it's weird because they asked if I was eventually convicted. It says right in the addendum that I was.

Hey all, I emailed BU financial aid office re: merit aid as well and I also got the generic "we may award merit aid at any time, please check out our need-based aid" response. I think this might be their way of saying "wait" rather than "no". I can't imagine that BU is the only school that absolutely refuses to negotiate merit aid whatsoever. Other people, feel free to chime in....is BU one of those schools that are notoriously hard to get merit aid from?
