I just wish they'd send out the rejections now as well... I want to get over all of this and send in that HLS deposit....random924 wrote:9:30 PM? oh jesus just shoot me now. i thought after 6pm i could breathe.

I completely agree. This is like the slowest band-aid rip ever.123kl wrote:I just wish they'd send out the rejections now as well... I want to get over all of this and send in that HLS deposit....random924 wrote:9:30 PM? oh jesus just shoot me now. i thought after 6pm i could breathe.

It's not even band-aid ripping at this point. It's like they said "close your eyes, we are going to rip off the band-aid some time in the next half hour. And that will still be as slow as we can possibly rip it."

I didn't want to discuss on this thread since I felt it would be like going to an orphanage and bitching about how my parents just don't get me, but frankly, I'm not sure. Yale v. Harvard is truly a tough decision for me. If anyone feels they have insight beyond "If you get into Yale, then go to Yale", I'd really appreciate the guidance.rocktower3 wrote:That's fantastic, congrats! The cultures & environments at Yale & Harvard are quite different so I have difficulty understanding your inability to decide between the two.

Go to ASW- the schools are very different. What are your interests and aspirations- YLS is not for everyone- just almost everyonethecynic69 wrote:I didn't want to discuss on this thread since I felt it would be like going to an orphanage and bitching about how my parents just don't get me, but frankly, I'm not sure. Re: Yale 2011 applicants
Tell them that if you go to Harvard..and I get your spot at Yale..I won't attend HLS. But if I don't get into Yale, I will go to HLS. So there's really no reason for them to encourage you to go to Yale, they'll be in the same boat no matter what!thecynic69 wrote:I'm sure someone on the Harvard thread would say go to Yale--more Harvard for the rest of us =P.onebiglie wrote:go to harvard--more yale for the rest of us

The different environments seem like something that would complicate the decision?CanadianWolf wrote:The cultures & environments at Yale & Harvard are quite different so I have difficulty understanding your inability to decide between the two.
It's funny how many other people in this thread that are all on board the "H unless Y" boat.
