For the first time since the beginning of February, I saw some movement- some more of the same, but still! Updated to IR 3/29. My first IR date was 2/7. Wonder what's holding up the decision?

from looking through this thread it seems like we can expect an email no matter what the decision is, correct?

Anyone ever get a call from a 919 area code number before getting an admissions decision? I just got a call and missed it--but I reverse looked it up (i don't know anyone else in raleigh/durham) and it doesn't look like its from duke.

very odd! maybe just a wrong number, but curious if anyone has ever had a similar experience?

i did not get any status update this week :/

Yes I got a call from a Durham like months before getting in. Odd coincidence.

Yes I got a call from a Durham like months before getting in. Odd coincidence.

haha well, i hope i have just as good of luck as you did! i have a feeling i'm going to be rejected though--auhg!

of all weeks to get a wrong number phone call from some random person in Durham who didn't even leave a message?! really?! come on!

Maybe Duke is crank calling you and see if you post to out you!!!

I received 1 call, and have not received it again. No vm. I get a lot of recruiting calls, but they usually leave vm.

Same here...I've be UR for almost a month and a half. You'd think that upon seeing my humble 164 the adcomm would just cackle and summarily toss my app in the "reject" pile...

i also just had my status updated to Under Review 3/29. has anyone with this update date received an email yet? how soon after an update would a decision email usually come? (sorry if this is a repeat- just joined and haven't gone through the entire message board)

2, I believe.

I don't know anyone else on this thread who had as weird as situation as I did... I got only 1 review date --> automatic decision a few weeks later.

That's what everyone's status reads right before a decision. Good luck! You should hear back in 30 mins or so.
