My letter was sent Friday. I expect it to be waiting for me at home today, based on previous reports of a 3-4 day average time 'til receipt.

Did they update your status checker once they sent the letter out?

Ahhhhh got the letter sent too, and will be driving down to Daytona this weekend for a week... from Canada! Would be really nice to know if it would be worthwhile driving over to Gainesville to check the school out.

Ambiguity is so stressful.

You can probably call them and explain that you're out of the country for a while. They might give you your decision over the phone

looking at last years decisions it looks like only acceptances were sent in feb.....do you guys think itll be the same this time around?

Not necessarily. Especially if "out of the country" means Canada. Also, they get so many phone calls a day I doubt they would give it a second thought.

Yes, I has under "no decision reached" since 2/4. I went complete 1/25.

Good luck! This gives me hope of a decision sooner than later, as I have a similar timeline (IR 2/1, No decision 2/4). I was fully expecting not to hear anything until April, but maybe they are churning out decisions for "no decision" folks sooner.

+1 I wasn't expecting to hear anything until end of March right before deposits are due! hopefully this is good news

Looks like I am in the same boat.... My letter was mailed today too!!! Let's make sure to keep each other posted on the letters! I am crossing my fingers and hoping for the best!!!!

I got DLS today as well. Also, I was supposed to attend FSU ASD this weekend, but I hate FSU! So I called UF right after I noticed the DLS, told them about FSU this weekend, and not wanting to waste the money, if this DLS is an acceptance. They then transferred me to the Dean who said I was IN!!!!!!!! She was sooooooo nice! So yeah, I'm in, and I would bet that everyone else in this DLS pool is in too(although I didn’t think to ask lol)!

They really won't tell you over the phone though. Well unless you have a very good reason, obviously.
So happy right now! UF really played hard to get!

I went complete early Nov, then hold for months, then IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so reading this I just tried to do the same thing and they told me that they couldn't tell me over the phone!!! Bummer!!! Cause I am going to Tallahassee this weekend too for ASD and am not really a fan of FSU. Oh well guess I will just have to wait for the letter.

+1, UF rarely sends out rejects this early, and typically speaking sends accepts/rejects out together.

I figure 165 and 3.2x (trends upwards) and varsity athlete means I probably would be in, right? I sat on the phones for an hour before giving up and don't imagine they will email me my acceptance by Friday when I leave... I become way too neurotic over this sort of thing.
