I received an e-mail today saying "Although you have not been chosen for admission at this time your application has been deferred for consideration later in the cycle."

Should I give up hope or do I still have a realistic chance at admission? Basically is being deferred essentially being denied?

My LSAT was right at the median by the way.

I wish I was you. Heard from three schools my first month into the cycle and have been in limbo since. Every night I say tomorrow there's gonna be some movement and I am always disappointed. C'mon Harvard, Columbia, NYU, Penn, UVA, Northwestern, Chicago, Cornell, Texas, WashU... Half of those I would have to turn down by now but still... just wanna hear something
