Yes. Happened to my friend. Wait listed them interviewed very late and got Js2 promptly

Yes, happened to me last year. I basically withdrew bc I needed to make a call by June 1 if I was going to commit to HKS and/or sign a binding deferral to the other school I was choosing between. Now of course I'm reapplying so take my advice for what it's worth (i.e. not much)

I'm technically not a URM. (Not AA, nor Latino).

I'm a formerly undocumented (DREAMer) gay Muslim. I believe my strong upward GPA trend, life experiences, community organizing responses to those experiences, and interview played a significant role in HLS's decision.


That being said, I am still very, very fortunate to be in Harvard's 2020 class and I wish you all the best of luck.

I'm a super weird case - 6 years working (incl TFA and an MA in urban ed), and by the time I was waitlisted I had already been accepted into the Kennedy School for an MPP. i think I'm under 25% for both lsat and gpa, but very strong/ unique softs (in the most humble way you can say that). on the other hand, my HKS friend who has an lsat 2 pts lower than mine got off the waitlist 3 days after I withdrew so WL is more than a numbers game, esp as it goes into june/ july

I've tried pretty much every combination of status checker credentials, email, LSAC ID, birthdate...

Hey everyone. I submitted in early Nov and have heard nothing since my mid-Nov complete.

Might I end up getting waitlisted, and then JS1? I just want to get in so badly. I put a Harvard poster on my bedroom wall just so when I wake up in the morning I imagine that good news is coming instead of freaking out that I haven't heard anything.

No one can really tell you how long it will be until you hear. It's no a consistant enough process for any information like that to even be something we could guess on.

We're all just waiting and hoping. Good luck!!

Yah same here, I submitted the first day apps came out in September and didn't hear about JS1 until end of December. Harvard is rolling admissions but you got your app in relatively early so hold off worrying for awhile!

Have any URM been accepted yet, or anyone with 25th percentile LSAT?

Average wait time last year from JS1 --> JS2 was about 6 weeks (based on TLS spreadsheet)

I'm a URM and interviewed about 2 1/2 weeks ago and with below 25s (know another who did as well, simlar stats) and have not heard back

URM w/ similar stats. I interviewed on 12/8, and I haven't heard anything yet either.

When did you submit/complete??

I submitted Nov 12, went complete Nov 15. Friend submitted in late Oct
