Just received my BLOS interview invitation!!!

Does anyone know approximately how many students are offered the scholarship?

This makes it sound like it's 5 a year. But it's also from last year so who knows if they are able to maintain the funds for the same number of scholars.

Welp. It was a long shot, but it stings away. Now I just hold on to hope of just getting admitted.

Depends on your goals and how much you get in need aid at SLS.

If it's AnnBryce good, I think BLOS may be worth it. I'll probably get close to max need due to parents being poor AF.

Plus I'm looking towards a government jerb or clerking.

Max need + interest in govt/clerking, I would definitely pick SLS.

Looks like it. They already gave us our interview dates. We're also able to start planning the logistics.

ood's_bro seems right. Email makes it sound like these were the finalists chosen from the 100+ initial pool.

Hoping that scholarship offers come out tomorrow and the fact that I didn't submit FAFSA and CSS until Feb 6 even though I was admitted a month ago won't delay anything

Seems like those docs are only for need based and are completely separate, but it says the scholarship notifications can include grants which I thought were only based on need

I was admitted in the beginning of December. I think there were a couple waves before me though.

Obsessively checking my e-mail all day hoping for some $$$ love! My husband is on his way to SF right now for work...maybe I should ask him to stop by Berkeley and put in a good word for me?
