Not sure if I'll be able to attend both ASWs, but I do intend to visit them in the same weekend. I applied for a named scholarship at NYU, though, so I can't book my trip out east until I know whether or not I need to come out for the interview for the scholly. It's quite annoying, because I would love to hit up the ASWs if I can, but I'm not paying to fly out and stay in NYC twice.unrelated wrote:Haven't decided yet, but anyone planning on doing half of NYU's and half of Columbia's? They very kindly picked the same weeks for ASW's.jjcorvino wrote:On this note, when are you admits planning on visiting? March 1-2 or 29-30? I'm going to the 29-30th, which is the day after I get home from 2 years in the peace corps. Will be jet lagged and entirely thrilled. Countdown in progress.jjcorvino wrote:On this note, when are you admits planning on visiting? March 1-2 or 29-30? I am leaning toward 1-2.jjcorvino wrote:Got my packet in the mail today. I'm assuming some ppl on LSN indicated their hold as WL or something. Either way, no rejects/WL until February so I'm assuming the same will be true for holds.Keilz wrote:When do holds come out?

Meanwhile, NYU is showing signs of movement.....
Not gonna lie, I prefer NYU over CLS. I OPed this thread because I saw that last cycle's CLS OP got into NYU and the NYU OP got into CLS.

Even when entering such a prestigious career field, I fear elitism, and I've seen some students saying that CLS has it. I think, for what I want to do, NYU has equally as good (if not better) opportunities. I'm also familiar with NYU because I started UG there, so I think that probably skews my opinion a littlehellohalo wrote:![]()

I understand what you saying! I want IP, which NYU is probably better at. I have friends who went there and love there. I hope NYU shows me some love.brinicolec wrote:Even when entering such a prestigious career field, I fear elitism, and I've seen some students saying that CLS has it. Thoughts on sending an updated resume now if I haven't heard back yet or wait to get waitlisted and then send it?

There have only been two waves so far so you could easily get admitted very soon, I would wait a little bit longer than reevaluate.lsa16 wrote:Thoughts on sending an updated resume now if I haven't heard back yet or wait to get waitlisted and then send it?

Predictions on the chances of a wave today? Not including the person above who just got in (which may not be "just now").
