why would you not want to live in an overpriced dorm on top of a highway that will be under construction for the foreseeable future?Gray wrote:yeah don't even consider it.buckiguy_sucks wrote:Gewirz seems like an objectively terrible place to livegamerish wrote:Well those student housing prices are fun

We should just sticky a post to answer all questions. You might hear back any time between today and 2035. No, we don't know whether the new dot on your status tracker means an acceptance or is just a smudge on your monitor. No, the fact that your tracker didn't go full screen by itself between 5:36 and 5:42 on Tuesdays does not mean you're getting rejected. Yes, we are all this neurotic.lymenheimer wrote:Soonest you can hear back? today.Quick Silver wrote:Hey All, I applied just before thanksgiving - any idea what the turn around time is - ie when is the soonest I can hear back?

Any history on applications that were postponed? It's not the same as a waitlist right? Completed alumni interview last week and competitive numbers... I think.

Same thing happened to me today and on Monday with Cornell's "reserve list." I just need decisions! Losing my mind here.

not to be a debbie downer but held at Northwestern last year just meant waitlisted. They didn't give us our "decisions" until like April or May maybe and then it was just waitlist for most of the held people

I don't doubt the accuracy of your statement. I've heard it called the "pre-waitlist" before. And yet I hope...buckiguy_sucks wrote:not to be a debbie downer but held at Northwestern last year just meant waitlisted. Postpone email too....really annoying....
The email said the committee will send a final decision no later than Feb 26. But I'm afraid it just end up as a waitlist.

Does anyone know if PILS acceptance/rejection comes at the time of decision (assuming acceptance, of course)?

to the people who got postponed/put on hold today, can you say when you went complete and possibly message me your numbers?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
