Has anyone successfully solicited PT from accelerated ED? If so, how did you go about it? Thanks.

Update: the spread delivered in a major way, but no one was eating! I'm pretty sure all of the deans could hear me crunching carrots in the back....BUT, I was inspired to finish my "Why Duke" essay afterward, and I have officially submitted!slippin_jimmy wrote:I sat kind of near the front and Dean Deal was not having it for this one girl who tried to keep participating.bamb00zled wrote:Like ships in the night...slippin_jimmy wrote:I also went, food spread was strong. FOR REAL. I think it was given by the law firm hosting the session, so don't get your hopes up too high in other cities. We had crudites, hummus, cheese, crackers, fruit, and dessert. It was glorious.

$70 fee waiver and a 10-day decision...or don't bother asking because it might not be worth it? (Hope this sounds as silly as your questionThe Abyss wrote:I am a splitter, would it worth it try and solicit a PT invite?benwyatt wrote:Did you try to solicit?maracuya wrote:Wah no PT inviteI'm above both 75s and I even changed my CRS preferences to indicate North Carolina! Did not solicit. I was waiting for them to start sending PT invites out once October scores were posted. Not sure why they didn't give me the invite, but I guess I'll just solicit it next week or something. Could directly solicit from the dean today at their panel, but that seems like really bad form.benwyatt wrote:Did you try to solicit?maracuya wrote:Wah no PT inviteI'm above both 75s and I even changed my CRS preferences to indicate North Carolina! Are there any trends for the time of day you receive your PT response on day 10? Typically later in the day from what I've gathered here?

Admitted last Friday! Thank god for PT. good way to start my cycle as well.
3.59 / 174 / international student (but US undergrad) / former military/war experience so that was pretty good for me I guess.

I'm a 3.3/172 splitter but got an unsolicited PT invite + fee waiver yesterday. Honestly Duke wasn't even on my radar, don't think I'm good enough to get in, but hey, we'll see what happens!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
