Considering I'm below both medians, I'm predicting it as such...nevertheless, still holding out hope.

What's the general feedback regarding how long it takes to go from UR2 form Acceptance/Denial/WL?

I was UR2 1/21 and didn't find out til 1/29 (acceptance). So it can be at least a week. Can only speak for my experience though.gryffinclaw wrote:I would really like to know thiswrestlme431 wrote:What's the general feedback regarding how long it takes to go from UR2 form Acceptance/Denial/WL?

I was UR2 12/24 -> Admit 1/11, so about 18 days. This was during the holidays though. Ymmvwrestlme431 wrote:What's the general feedback regarding how long it takes to go from UR2 form Acceptance/Denial/WL?

I've been UR2 since 12/7 with no feedback positive or negative as of yet, but I suspect that I'm on the extreme end.

Does anyone know if "Under Committee Review" is the same thing as "Under Review?"
Just turned "UCR" yesterday.

They have tweeted about a day being a decision day on the same day (generally by 2pmish EST). So you might get news today!tappatappatappa wrote:Do we think the lack of a tweet about calls yesterday means only e-mail (or no) decisions today?gamerish wrote:Hoping tomorrow isn't a UR 1/5 bloodbath

Conflicted here, guys. I just found out I'm a candidate for a James Wilson scholarship (between 75 and 111k). Even if I get the full 111, would Penn be worth it over Michigan's 150k offer?

Re: Penn c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Congrats!I think it depends on how your interests align with Michigan versus Penn's resources, where you are interested in working, and how debt averse you are. There is no harm in trying for the scholarship and seeing how it goes, however in my own self-interest I suggest you decline and ask them to consider me instead.slizerd wrote:Conflicted here, guys. Re: Penn c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I would take the 150 from UM personally, but I think it would be very much a judgement call based on your desired location after gradauting and during school. It's a nice problem to have in any case.slizerd wrote:Conflicted here, guys. I just found out I'm a candidate for a James Wilson scholarship (between 75 and 111k).
