I'd typically say "Nonsense! Worth a shot!" but noting that 1.0 GPA listed in your profile I may have to agree with you.miamiri wrote:DLS at 5:15 pm pst today so have not called. I'm waiting for the letter. Don't need to bother them w a phone call as I know it's a rejection. I had no business applying, and have no clue how I made it this long...

Oh. The numbers are not correct, but it's still too big of a stretch.MustaphaMond wrote:I'd typically say "Nonsense! This wait is killing me! I heard back from every other school (except for Chicago, whom I interviewed with recently) weeks ago!

Another acceptance reported on MyLSN, a 180 that was rejected by Yale in the ding wave.
NEVER MIND. For some reason, my LSN marked it as "updated," but the user received decision in February. Sorry, guys.

There was the guy who got the call earlier this week on the same day as the HLS call - seems some calls are trickling.leslieknope wrote:Acceptance reported on LSN today... not sure if legit, though.

The day for what? Stanford's red wedding? Because Harvard and Yale have already hosted their respective ones lol.

Sorry to be That Guy this late in the thread, but do we have any sense of when the deadline for decisions is? I thought Harvard was taking forever, but I just looked at last year's threads and it looks like people were still getting initial decisions in May. Christ, Stanford.

We don't. Stanford and Yale, I feel, are the blackest boxes of law school admissions.

Boooooooo. I'm sorry. (I've got the same stat window, but a much later complete date.)tonysoprano wrote:DLS sometime between now and last night. Complete mid-October. 25<LSAT<50<GPA<75
When I was applying to Ph.D. programs years ago, Northwestern sent me a ding that was written so politely and empathetically it almost made me want to apologize to THEM for having to reject me. Stanford, on the other hand, just said (paraphrasing) "Thanks for your application. You have not been accepted." I thought they just needed to add at the end "Have a nice life, loser" to make the experience complete.
I'm waiting for the reprise of my Stanford Ph.D. app right now. At least my Ph.D. rejection was very, very fast (two weeks after submission
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
