Got the call 6/15. In off the WL with $20k/year. 155 and 3.82. Times must be tough for Vandy. Anyway, won't be accepting so my slot just opened up. Good luck!

Not to belittle you but I had better numbers and less scholarship :|. Oh well. I feel for Vandy, though. They must be having some issues.

Yeah I don't know what's going on with Vandy this cycle....I withdrew my application back in like February and then was waitlisted in April and then was taken off of the waitlist with a 20k/yr scholly.

This reminds me of the child who you say no to and they go, "well I didn't want to do it anyway!" right after asking you.

Congrats! I had a 172 and Superior grade (Top 5%tile) and got only $15k/year. Attending a top 8 at almost thrice that. Was actually looking at Vandy as a legit choice during the cycle. Dunno what's wrong with them.

lol that is ridiculous.. but looking at lsn, they don't seem to give out huge scholarships anyway. $110 seems to be the max and those are going to people with your numbers.. who most likely have better offers. Not sure how they're filling the ranks.

I'm very curious to see their class medians when they're released later.

Anyone else on the WL get a phone call today to gauge interest? I was so awkward on the phone I feel like I blew it. They said they'd let me know within the next few days. I doubt I'll get much, if any, scholarship money if they let me in though.

I thought they only had one deposit deadline for the initial people. The WL deadlines vary depending on when you're offered.

I got the call yesterday that I got in off the waitlist with $15k/yr. I want to go but it's still so expensive.

I know all jd students can participate the OCI, but is there any percentage cutoff for biglaw OCI (for example, in some law schools, only 30% of the class are eligible for biglaw OCI)? Thank you in advance!!!!!

Are there schools that have a cutoff? I've never heard of this. So no, everyone can participate. And really biglaw OCI is the only OCI, unless you count a couple PD offices and JAG.

Thank you!! good to hear that! I was in Emory as well, and the Dean himself told me that only top 30% of the class are eligible for biglaw OCI...

Right. Everyone is eligible for OCI. Everyone is allowed to bid, gets the same number of bids, etc.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
