UUHHHHHH
We're rooting for you, dude! Looks like admissions decided to get you that acceptance in time for the deadline.
Thanks! Took the advice of TLS and emailed the admissions council, got an email back from Johann last week saying I would hear by the end of this week, but I didn't think it would be Tuesday!

So excited right now!

Congrats to all those getting in! Those of us (myself included) who have been complete for a long time and didn't get an email today are likely to be waitlisted or rejected, right?

It's not official yet, but I have a feeling I will soon be starting the "reject" pile in my office. It's been a fun ride everyone.

Accepted! 170 LSAT, GPA a little below median. Pretty excited as NU is my top choice and also the only school I have heard back from even though I applied early in the cycle.

Hoping to get some kind of scholarship money, otherwise NU might be too expensive, regardless of how much I like the school. I see we have to answer a couple questions when requesting fin aid. The second question in particular seems strange to me, "Northwestern Law administers an extensive program of scholarships and grants, all of which are awarded on a combined basis of merit and financial need. Please assess your position for merit aid and discuss your financial need for aid. (300-500 words)." How do I answer the bolded? Uh, my LSAT is pretty decent, so, uh, maybe that puts me in a position for merit aid....? Any suggestions from current students?

I just came to check if anyone else was having problems with this. I still can't open it. We are just putting in our status checker login right? I can't imagine what else they'd want.

But either way, I'm just excited to know I'm admitted!

I can get into the system and click a button which reads "Download Decision Letter [PDF]". Then I am prompted for another username and password, which upon entering anything just recommands the program to ask me for the same username and password again. When I click cancel, it gives me a list of options, none of which really pertain to me. Except for I could be locked out from trying to access the system too many times. Lol.

So... my date changed today, but I'm still at "Application Complete."

I assume that is not good news.

Being someone who expects to get rejected, I will tell you that I didn't get any date change today. Gotta be at least 15% comforting, right?

No admit for me today either, but you kids crack me up. Reminds me of how at baseball games my dad used to throw his hands up in frustration and say "it's over!" every time anything bad happened for our team.

i was a hold who got nothing today. I haven't seen anyone on here yet who was say they were accepted I don't think.

So it might just be RD and any EDs who still hadn't heard anything but hard to say for sure.

There's that one guy on Twitter who's probably down to take one for the team and ask Johann literally anything we say.

I couldn't download the decision letter. I didn't know what to type in for that username.

But i did receive an email from them later on congratulating me and telling me about financial aid options.

Applied mid/late October. 162-169 LSAT range, 3.9x GPA

Same date. Same result. Same self-conscious questions?

I feel like we submitted everything so similarly. This is the first occasion where you haven't already been accepted.

Have we found that guy on twitter yet who is going to ask if any of the held apps from early decision were reviewed? Dibs on not being that guy!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
