I just looked it up on their financial aid page and it says up to two weeks for them to make a decision/post it on the ASW portal.

Received the call from the Dean yesterday - full Darrow + stipend. Not coming here to brag but to just let those know who applied for the Darrow and/or for those waiting on scholarship information.
Stats in profile. Best of luck to everybody still awaiting acceptance/scholly information. Michigan is a great school!

I applied in September. Still waiting. I assumed that meant I was certainly YPed, but I got this email from them.
Has anybody else ever received something like this?"Because you went to the effort of applying early in the admissions season, we are concerned that you may feel some disappointment at not having received your answer yet. We understand the anxiety that the law school admissions process can cause, and are therefore writing to update you on the status of your file in an effort to alleviate at least some of that stress.
As a general proposition, we are able to get most applicants an answer within roughly ten weeks of the time they submit their applications. That timeline gets a little askew, however, for applications (like yours) submitted toward the very beginning of the admission season. That’s because, for the first eight weeks or so, we aren’t making any decisions at all—we are, instead, traveling hither and yon for recruiting. Meanwhile, everything backs up."

I also got a call from Dean Z yesterday telling me I'd received a full Darrow. The whole timeline looked like this (since others have asked):
Applied: 9/4
Admitted: 11/6
Invited to apply for Darrow: 12/7
Sent Darrow essay: 1/3 (would have sent it earlier but I was out of the country until 1/2)
Received Darrow: 1/10
Up until I got the call yesterday, the ASW reflected zero scholarship for me. Hope that information helps anyone who is curious.

sounds like if nothing is showing up after a couple weeks you are headed to full-ride darrow territory son....djwjddl wrote:it's been 3 for me!! ahhhhhhtwinkletoes16 wrote:djwjddl wrote:anyone admitted in late december still w/o scholarship info?

I was admitted earlier this week and just checked the ASW. Found some money waiting there. Really fast turnaround on that.

So after reading this (edit: Darrow post that's like three above now) I looked online hoping I wouldn't see anything listed which would maybe mean I was headed for the Darrow. Instead, I have a 25k deans scholarship for 2014. And now in some strange twist of fate that I'm both happy and sad simultaneously because I was wishing for nothing. Bah sometimes TLS is bad for my sanity.... still this is the first money of the cycle for me
yay Michigan

Thanks!! I think its only one year because only 2014 is shown though. Regardless, 25k is still the most anyone has liked me yet!

I think that can be assumed to hold for all three years. I hope so anyway.Spritzpiggy wrote:Thanks!! I think its only one year because only 2014 is shown though. Regardless, 25k is still the most anyone has liked me yet!

Nope - you'll get a letter in the mail in the next week or so telling you that it is for all 3 years. Only requirements are like a 2.0 and actually taking classes.Spritzpiggy wrote:Thanks!!
