I'm sorry to hear that, man. Not all hope is lost, though. I expect at least one or two people to pass on the offer. Plus, you'll be getting a fat merit scholarship either way

I got my CLS award today (of course, it was a grand total of nothing - but they have been mailed!) I'm in Massachusetts FWIW so if you're not so close it may take a few days.

found out about it march 8th, appealed when i got my NU 3/19th got my deadline extension today

To be completely honest, I think CLS is really the better fit for you. I'm sure you'd do great at NYU or CLS, but CLS just seems right.
