Seriously CU? Sooo frustrating. You've had my app since late Nov and you received the second LoR update in mid December, come on! If I don't hear something ASAP you're dropping off my short list. I just booked tickets to hit an ASW and visit another school on the way home from the ASW :| Bummer.

This. All these days of no mail from CU are just depressing now. I kind of resented the lack of a fee waiver. I thought about resenting the lack of a status checker. I'm definitely resenting the lack of any communication in the past three months for sure.

Did you request a fee waiver and get shot down? I never got a free waive through LSAC, but they did grant me one via email. Although it took them over a month to respond to my initial request.

I also requested mine via email, but my turnaround was pretty quick.

I should clarify. I initially requested it in Sept. They told me the next day that they would give me one, but to contact them in October. When I followed up though, they didnt respond till like near November.

No, I never requested one. Of course, it was early in my cycle, I hadn't yet started seriously cruising TLS, so I didn't know you could just cold request one. Hence, only kind of resenting it.

Any other feelings I have about the whole situation shall be reserved for the Ding Bar, if necessary (still don't want to jinx any possible acceptance!)

I got my fee waiver from visiting CU's law fair day on campus... So yeah, not really doable for most applicants.

I got my fee waiver real quick. Univ of Washington, on the other hand, took over a month to get my fee waiver to me. I finally bugged them and they got back to me the same day.

I got a fee waiver by attending the LSAC forum in Chicago....which is an amazing way to accrue fee waivers BTW. LSAC forums are a must for the potential applicant in my mind.

Congrats.

I didn't ask for a fee waiver but got one anyways which is why I applied. I have a feeling 1 or 2 more points on the LSAT and I'd be in by now..

Withdrawing from the waitlist... I'm sad to not be going to school in CO, but my full-tuition offer from Iowa makes it much more bearable :-)

Thanks!

I'll still be heading to Summit County at least twice a year to snowboard, so I'll look some of you up to see if you wanna join :-)
