I don't want to be a downer or anything, but my status has changed to Decision Letter Sent today too (RD) and I don't really have the numbers for NYU. I'm URM and I have pretty decent softs so it wouldn't be impossible for me to get in, but I'm not going to make any conclusions until I see the envelope. Although historically speaking they don't do their rejections until January, so I would be lying if I said I'm staying completely calm.

My application was received on 11/5, and was processing forever. I sent them an email on like 11/28 and they responded basically saying it means nothing just keep waiting. Went complete on like 12/1 and UCR on 12/3. So yea its super annoying but just hang in there should go complete any day now.

Doubt it. I'd gladly accept still waiting with the other URMs who've gotten into the likes of Harvard, Berkeley, etc. Maybe they just haven't gotten to our group yet. There's been one URM of hispanic ethnicity, but I think most of us waiting are AA...could be wrong though.

Well, ED here, still UR 10/20. Just about given up hope on NYU, but my numbers were borderline even with ED, so can't be too disappointed.

I just received an email from NYU saying they can't process my file until they get my ED contract....I'm not an ED applicant....

Argh. Checked the wrong box. Guess that explains why I've been processing since 11/7. Called admissions, fixing me to RD. *twitch* Fail.

(posted this in case any other RDs are in forever processing status, might wanna check and make sure you checked the right box).

I guess I'm a retaker and a splitter - my original score is from 2006, <170, and I retook in 2009 with a 174.
