I mean this is sort of relevant for those of you dinged by UIUC...at least you don't have to be graced by her presence.
EDIT: wait, no apparently I still fail at internetz.

Re: THE DING BAR
They're like $40. I got mine when I was working at Nordstrom 2 years ago and they are still in perfect condition. So I think the investment was completely worth it.Gotti wrote:LOL!! how much are the kenneth cole ones? the ones <$10 are mostly always see through!LttleBlakDress wrote:I am wearing them with boots and an oversized boyfriend cardi at work. (I work in fine dining so I have a trendy workplace.) It looks fantastic. I will not apologize. But definitely an item that requires thoughtful consideration before breaking it out. Also, for anyone who would like a suggestion of a brand that will not be see-through, I recommend Kenneth Cole. (The jersey uggs thing made me kinda ok with getting waitlisted at Fordham though. I saw that from all the NY school people I studied abroad with and it was a bit much because the ladies did not think about their body type/the opacity of the leggings.)Gotti wrote:I'm wearing that right now, but only because I can wear whatever the fuck I wanna wear to work and I was running late so I threw on the first pair of boots I could find.crankyankees wrote:any opinions on the overwhelming jersey trend: leggings and ugg boots?
I'm not trying to make a fashion statement...they're just comfortable right now/when I'm lazy.
I don't do this when I go anywhere that matters.
As you can tell this is a topic about which I am extremely passionate.

Re: THE DING BAR
happy to oblige...
Thanks for the ding, Berkeley. I was first attracted to you by your love of high GPAs, but you and I both knew in our hearts that we just weren't right for each other. I wear Ugg boots instead of Birkenstocks, you prefer riding bikes over long drives to nowhere in my gas guzzling Mustang. It would have never worked out. You knew I could never give you what you wanted and become a dread-wearing hippie. I would never give you the commitment you so desperately desired. If I'm going to move across the country it would be to your sunnier, southern sister, not to your hipster loving bay area. I say this with much love-

Bouncers? This person is doing it wrong, clearly drunk, and looking for a bar fight. Please escort him out, hack into his computer, then send in an app in his name to University of Chicago. If he gets in, he will get shot going to class, and if he gets dinged, then he can be let into the bar again. It's a win/win for everyone.HelltotheNo wrote:I have yet to be rejected by a school. 10/10 thus far. Get Big.

I'd be 10/10 so far too if I kept my apps to Cooley, Widener, and other TTTT schools. So, congrats?HelltotheNo wrote:I have yet to be rejected by a school. 10/10 thus far. Get Big.

With a personality like that I bet the ladies make up for your zero law school rejection rate with a 100% rejection rate every time you roll into a bar.HelltotheNo wrote:I have yet to be rejected by a school. 10/10 thus far. Get Big.

Dear Northwestern,
Before my on-campus interview, I accidently peed on your bathroom floor a little bit. At first I felt very guilty about this....now I wish I had dropped a log in your sink.
