Re: U Washington
I went blank sometime this evening. At least I can say I was IR for 10 weeks at UW, which is much longer than any other school I applied. I really hope my decision letter feels thicker than a page (before I open it), because we all know, if there are two pages, I'm IN.
But I also realize that my score may be the kicker this cycle, which means study hard and retake the test. Maybe I'll join class of 2013, or maybe I will have to postpone another year. Best of luck to all and it's been a fun ride.
Peace,

Are you in the correct thread? This is University of Washington, not George Washington. I ask only because your profile lists GWU and not UW. Congrats on your acceptances!Annie09 wrote:In. 3.7, 169.

Hm, it seems you must mean for undergraduate school. Great job! Out of state tuition is very reasonable, so I don't think you should rule UW undergraduate school out. Good luck.kenson wrote:Meh, I'm entering college in the fall and was accepted but can't afford UW![]()

If you are from another western state (other than CA) you should look into the Western Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship. I'm not 100% sure if it still exists, but my wife was an Oregon resident and went to school in Washington and was able to pay close to in state tuition because of the WUE from 2002-06.kenson wrote:Meh, I'm entering college in the fall and was accepted but can't afford UW![]()

Wherever you end up going, enjoy college and don't think about law school for the next two years, other than maybe as a motivator to get good grades.
edit: I wonder how long this TLS April Fools thing is going to continue.

Profits - Good luck to you my IR 1/21 buddie - we waited out long enough for a decision, and its funny but I'm sure we'd both be happy waiting even longer if necessary.ProfitsProphets wrote:I went blank sometime this evening. I wish I knew what to make of it... last time I saw something like that on this thread was mid-March and it ended up the person was waitlisted... I don't want to stoke any anxieties, but that's just what i remember from last time.
