If you look on craigslist, beware the 821 Baxter St. ads. The building doesn't exist. It's just a scam, so make sure to flag those ads if you see them.

Maybe it exists à la platform 9 and 3 quarters. You just have to believe.

My last day of work was last Friday, so as of now I am bumming around Athens waiting for July 21 to move in to the new apartment.

And I have no opinion on the east side vs. west side debate. Both are decent and have everything you need within a reasonable distance. I'll be on the west side next year, though; probably looking to move to a house in five points after that.

If anyone is around/gets to town early and wants to hang out/eat/drink, give me a shout.

EDIT: I should mention that most of the food in Athens is amazing. For nice dinners you cannot beat 5and10 or the National. Agua Linda, Barberitos, RuSans, Mamas boy, Jot em down BBQ, and Cali-N-Titos are also great.

Any tennis bums out there? Looking to get a game together once or twice a week. Beer and briefs to follow.

I'll show up if you can get Isner to return to the UGA courts...

He was actually here in Athens this week for a junior tennis camp. I bet we could catch him at Bourbon St. or OTR with Knowshon when Denver has an off week.

I'm surprised you got in. I didn't know they let anyone over 21 in there.

Wee babe.
It's ok. You can just celebrate in style in dt Athens!
Also, a guy in my section last year didn't turn 21 until this past March. You're not the youngest person to enter UGA law. lol

Eandy, you make me feel better. Everyone who is heading to UGA that I've talked to so far has been 26+, usually. I knew the average entering age was increasing but I felt like I was going to be a child as a 22 year-old.

It's a curse! At the beginning of the year when I have the most time to go out, I won't be able to.

Glad to be of help
I feel like a huge baby, and I look like one, too. While walking to classes, I have been accused of "straying from the group!" when I pass the high school tours. So don't worry. No matter what, someone will look and be younger than you!

I look approximately 18 at the most, so I'm right there with you! We'll hang together and look like child prodigies.

UPDATE:

UGA updated my scholarship amount on OASIS. If you are an OOS student who received tuition equalization for both semesters your total scholarship amount should now read $17,806 (before it read $15,758 or something). Total tuition should come to $15,814 (remember this number includes the $1,666 resident fee listed on the website).
