I would also like to call "dibs" on that spot, in case that's how Fordham wants to handle this.

That's how the operation worked when I was a kid and we had to decide who got the front seat on the way to the grocery store. I should think the same should apply to law school admissions.

Waitlisted? Are you f'n kidding me? I really thought I would get into Fordham. 167, 3.5x URM btw. Super bummed out right now because Fordham was one of my top choices, and my only realistic shot to stay in NY area. Last year (on LSN) pretty much every URM with my numbers got in outright. Uggg

Yeah I have no idea what Fordham is thinking. I figured my numbers would get me in URM or not, plus I wrote a really nice "Why Fordham" essay.

You know, I honestly think that they are just separating out 3 categories, before the Holidays:
Accept
Reject
Great candidates that we'll sort through, in January (i.e., WL)

FT, and no I doubt its YP, seeing as I haven't gotten into any T14's that I applied to (rejected from one and haven't heard back from any of the rest yet)

If I get some T14 acceptances, then I'd be happy to call it YP. But I'm still not convinced that I'm getting into anything in the T14. I'm not sure what exactly I'm supposed to do. I guess I'll just write a LOCI pretty soon to let them know I'm super interested in the school.

I emailed them about the waitlist. They said they will start using the list in April.

Oh so then Fordham is pretty much out of the question for me. I look to have my decision made by April/May, so if they don't even start considering the waitlist until April then I am finished there. Thats such a shame because I was in love with the school and thought my application warranted an acceptance.
