Is email the proper way to send in a LOCI or should I send it via snail mail?
Thanks a lot.

Sending one in by e-mail worked out just fine for me.njc08 wrote:Should I send in a LOCI although I have not get a decision yet?

+1 .... however, I sent mine by snail mail because I wanted to be more formal and wanted to make sure someone opened it and had to physically put it in my file. Just personal preference. Dean Pless said earlier (and in the waitlist email he sent me) that email or snail mail is fine...whichever you prefer.JCougar wrote:Sending one in by e-mail worked out just fine for me.njc08 wrote:Should I send in a LOCI although I have not get a decision yet?

My goal is to have all completed files gone through with an initial review by May 1.primusux wrote:Dean Pless,
I was wondering if you can shed some light on when applications from close to the deadline might receive decisions. (understanding that it takes about a month to go into eval)
Thanks!
Dean P, do you think a waitlisted candidate who retakes the LSAT in June and increases his/her score by 5+ will increase his/her chances in getting off the waitlist? or do you think the June LSAT is too little, too late?Pless wrote:My goal is to have all completed files gone through with an initial review by May 1.primusux wrote:Dean Pless,

Thanks so much for the quick reply!Pless wrote:My goal is to have all completed files gone through with an initial review by May 1.primusux wrote:Dean Pless,

I don't think it could hurt. I would hope to be done with the wait list before that score would report, but I guess we would still have some WL action in July.clint4law wrote:Dean P, do you think a waitlisted candidate who retakes the LSAT in June and increases his/her score by 5+ will increase his/her chances in getting off the waitlist? or do you think the June LSAT is too little, too late?Pless wrote:My goal is to have all completed files gone through with an initial review by May 1.primusux wrote:Dean Pless,

So Dean P assuming you reject a candidate in June and he/she ends up increasing his/her LSAT score by 7+ points would you reconsider his/her file or would it be too little, too late?Pless wrote:I don't think it could hurt. +1. I think the UIUC Law Faculty/Staff should all be commended for doing a fantastic and very open admissions process. I cannot wait to attend such a great Law School!Luis Gomez wrote:Congratulations are in order for the College of Law's faculty and staff.

Except in biglaw and clerkship placement. Other than that, they're clearly on top of ND.one&only wrote:Who cares if UIUC went up a couple of spots. The real news is that Illinois is now clearly on top of ND, Minnesota, Iowa and UI. UIUC seems, now more than ever, a solid choice for the Midwest.
No, it isn't.sixburgher wrote:Is the amlaw composite stats sheet from the 2009 class?

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. No Juice Williams = at least 2-3 more wins.cr073137 wrote:UIUC> ND. well, not in football, ill give them that.Pless wrote:No, it isn't.sixburgher wrote:Is the amlaw composite stats sheet from the 2009 class?
UIUC was always a solid choice for the midwest. As for claiming that it is now clearly on top of Minnesota, I feel obliged to point out that until this year Minnesota has been ranked higher than UIUC every single year since 1998. I have no dog in this fight, but your blanket statement is a bit far fetched.one&only wrote:Who cares if UIUC went up a couple of spots.
