So I just updated from UR 10/19 (finally) to UR 12/9. Is this a sign of anything? Seems like it has been...

What time of day do students' status checkers change the day of a decision? What time do emails go out?

Sorry for all the questions...

I was looking at last year's group of people who applied in October. Seemed like 90+% heard either in November or February, and almost nothing in between.

Mine changed sometime in the early afternoon and left me to twist until 930 to get the email.

It took me about a week, but that was over Thanksgiving, so I'm not sure how many days they/the post office shut down.

UR 11/16 just updated to 12/10. I think I'm the fourth to be in this situation. I think we are all out or all in...
UR 11/9 updated to 12/10 also. RD

My Under Review date changed the day before I got a decision.

I came in this thread to ask about this exact issue since it's (nearing) a month for many of us. Good to know.

As a current Duke Law upperclassman who is bored and procrastinating finals preparation, I'll give a bit of advice to people who: 1) haven't yet applied, 2) are thinking of applying, or 3) think they're on the cusp of getting in. If you apply to the dual degree program, either JD/LLM or JD/MA etc..., it is easier to get into Duke than through the straight JD program. Personally, I had around their 25% LSAT and over their 75% GPA, and I got into the summer start program and I probably wouldn't have gotten into their straight JD program.

For what its worth, it's anecdotal, but most of my fellow summer starters had lower GPA's or LSAT's, and it seems slightly easier in the admissions process for summers rather than fall.

Dude, I've been under review since 11/2, I would say my ding is much more likely.

I am curious about their dual degree programs... which combo are you doing? How is the workload? Are you happy with your choice? Feel free to PM me :)
