Likely will withdraw rather than ride out the waitlist. It seems that accepted waitlisted applicants rarely get sizeable scholarships. Since scholarship size is one of my main factors in making a decision, I don't see much value inn sticking it out.

I literally ran in from class so was wearing a nice shirt and earrings (secretly over my workout clothes, <3 skype) and it seemed at about the same level as the interviewer (dean hoye) although he wasn't wearing the earringszeglo wrote:Dress code for financial aid Skype session? Suit?

Priority WL yesterday. Is this a real thing or a marketing gimmick?

IN!!!!!!
I'm in a state of shock -- I was rejected last year.
Edit for numbers: 164 LSAT, 3.98 GPA. Wrote a "Why Duke" and applied ED.

Duke has just too many damn categories...we have ED PT, RD PT, RD Non-PT, ED2-PT, ED2 Non-PT, Priority Waitlist, Waitlist etc. Some of these may be made up, but JESUS

Do scholarship awards come out via email or snail mail? And are we expecting the first round soonish?

I was told in my interview that it would come via snail mail with a notification on the status checker. The committee's first meeting is this Friday and they are processing awards in the order of interviews, so those who interviewed in early January should be hearing back within the next few weeks I would imagine (my interview was this week and I was told to expect to hear back end of February/beginning of March).addie1412 wrote:Do scholarship awards come out via email or snail mail? WL via email about half an hour ago. GPA < 25, LSAT > 75, no Why Duke. UR since literally the day I applied, so I'm not surprised -- but will probably withdraw!

Received my acceptance yesterday after almost 4 months of being UR1! Was half-convinced it'll be a WL like Penn & Chicago but yay. Wrote a Why Duke. Approx. how long after acceptance does Fin Aid get back to you regarding setting up scholarship interview? I want to set it up asap before the funds run out to all the PT guys
