Just tell them that it's been 2 months since you got in and you still haven't received the package. I don't know where you're at, but you should've gotten it by now.romanesque wrote:Actually just checked my inbox, and I also got in on December 2nd! FYI RTK applicants: I just got my finalist notification in an email yesterday. I don't know if they do it as a blast or 1 by 1, but I thought I would let you all know they are going out.

RTK notifications are going out on a rolling basis. If you have been accepted to NYU and applied for the RTK, you are still in the running unless you've recieved your financial aid package (those are generated once financial aid is notified that people are not advancing to interviews).

UR 12/19.... not even a peep (though not a strong candidate here)
Anyone else stuck with me?

Me! Also 12/19, also not a strong candidate. This bit from Spivey's blog may explain why:arewevoting wrote:UR 12/19.... not even a peep (though not a strong candidate here)

Spivey wrote:Schools with good admissions offices generally sort file reading not by date completed, but by likelihood of admission (at or above both medians in LSAT and uGPA). I do not know how else to say this so I will say it bluntly– if they think you will be admitted they care a great deal about you and what you think. If they think you will be denied they care less about you. Schools with very good admissions offices usually only read first applications that are above both medians, because they do not have enough data on the current year’s applicant pool to do anything else.

I think it means "usually start by exclusively reading applications that are above both medians" until they have "enough data on the current year's applicant pool to do anything else."NoBladesNoBows wrote:Is that supposed to read "usually read applications that are above both medians first"?Dipper wrote:Me! Re: NYU c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015)
On this, does anyone know the latest RTK interview notifications go out? I'm planning on flying back (international) for ASW but the best time to go is early March - don't want to end up dropping a ton of money and then finding out I have to fly back again for an RTK interview. Anyone know the odds on hearing by March? I was admitted back in December.hicrhodus wrote:RTK notifications are going out on a rolling basis. Been 12/2 under review with what is, according to their website, a 25th percentile LSAT and GPA just above the 50th. LSAT score really gives me very slim chances but it's a bit of a dream school for me. I'm surprised I haven't heard anything at all yet considering I applied ED back in November and got bumped to regular decision 12/15.
