Waiting on LOR's is testing my patience. Can't imagine what it's gonna be like when apps are submitted.

I'm at one month for one of mine, at least I am not ready to submit my applications yet. I think it would be worse if I was strictly waiting on that LOR.pulstar1 wrote:This is straight killing me too.Dream_weaver32 wrote:Waiting on LOR's is testing my patience. Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Mine took about 2.5 months. I've learned that just give a set deadline, say "I have to have it by X to meet application deadlines" worked best.james.bungles wrote:my second LOR last cycle took like 3 months smhDream_weaver32 wrote:Waiting on LOR's is testing my patience. Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
I wouldn't be too upset if I hadn't asked two months ago and literally have everything else ready to submit. Only thing that's making this ok is that even when I submit it's just a waiting game anyway.

Ouch, I feel your pain. Hopefully it' will come in soon and will be a killer recommendation to make the wait worthwhile.Dream_weaver32 wrote:I wouldn't be too upset if I hadn't asked two months ago and literally have everything else ready to submit. If it kills any concerns I got my first acceptance 12 days after applying.Dream_weaver32 wrote:I wouldn't be too upset if I hadn't asked two months ago and literally have everything else ready to submit. Only thing that's making this ok is that even when I submit it's just a waiting game anyway.

I was KJD and it was tied for my first choice so all other acceptances were just like "lol idgaf"rebexness wrote:If this happened to me I would have a very difficult time doing any work for the next 10 months.Attax wrote:If it kills any concerns I got my first acceptance 12 days after applying.Dream_weaver32 wrote:I wouldn't be too upset if I hadn't asked two months ago and literally have everything else ready to submit.
