On both counts, probably.

I think someone a few pages back got accepted in a little under a month? I can't find it right now, but it seemed like that was considered pretty prompt for Yale.wtrc wrote:Complete! Let the games begin
What's the fastest turnaround time for a reject or WL or accept?
It would be interesting to see what the difference in turnaround time is for those who Asha auto-admits, and those who are sent to faculty review. I don't think it's possible to figure this out though...wealtheow wrote:I think someone a few pages back got accepted in a little under a month? especially considering that their is no yale status tracker... we can't even wildly speculate about date changesQuest4Knowledge wrote:It would be interesting to see what the difference in turnaround time is for those who Asha auto-admits, and those who are sent to faculty review. I have a question, too: do they actually call during the workday? Or do those tweets mean they'll be calling in the evening? (No school has called me before 5pm EST, far's I can remember. I just ask so that I know whether I should hold out a sliver of hope every day they tweet or just proceed to be crushed if I don't hear anything within the hour.)rendlelaw wrote:Has anyone tried to look at how long they make calls from the time of their tweet to the last call? Unscientifically, it seems like they stop calling within the hour or so.

You know the feeling you get immediately after buying a lottery ticket? Thinking about the possibilities, the 'what-if', and the dreams and come along with it? This is almost exactly the same feeling I get every time YLS tweets about admit calls...
When I got a call, it came in the morning right after I arrived at work (which was a pretty good guarantee that I wouldn't get any work done that day). I've heard of people hearing well into the evening as well - it seems like a pretty wide range.92653 wrote:

And then before you know it, the feeling disappears and you start wondering why you even let yourself have those unrealistic fantasies in the first place. At least that's whats happens to me.Quest4Knowledge wrote:You know the feeling you get immediately after buying a lottery ticket?
