TLSer confirmed his/her status changed to DLS two days before the letter got to him/her.

1 point for the DLS change still existing, and 1 point for me also messaging him and getting the exact same response. neurotic LSN stalkers unite

Does DLS appear before WL, as well?

The only way this wait is forgivable is if Stanford dings us all at once. Dings in waves would just be crazy.

I think since WL is by email, the status checker changes directly to WL without going DLS in betweencarboncopyx wrote:Does DLS appear before WL, as well?

Anyone out there considering an LOCI? I know its not typically advised prior to a WL but I do have new material, not earth shattering though.

Re: Stanford C/O 2016 Applicants Thread
When did you apply? If you applied really early and didn't get a DLS, I think you should submit a LOCI. It means you're a soft hold. I sent a LOCI about a couple of fellowships. I only applied in late November, but I felt that the new material was strong enough to share. Hope this helps!Rory19 wrote:Anyone out there considering an LOCI? I applied back in September so I think I'll draft it this weekend. I don't have a DLS yet so the ding has not been mailed yet.ssanonymous wrote:When did you apply? So... the statuschecker software detected a change in my SLS status. Apparently it's something about my name, although I can't figure out what exactly changed. Is everybody's name listed in the format of "John Smith"? Unfortunately my emails are still all upper case.
