I'm interested in this as well...I submitted 12/1 and my numbers are on the border. I have no idea if I will get an envelope or not

I believe all decisions are communicated via snail mail. someone feel free to disagree.djwjddl wrote:does anyone know in what form dings/WLs come?

If the status checker info is telling the truth...Please note that decisions will not be available online; rather, all applicants will receive their decisions by mail.

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Looking at LSN for last year, there were people who went complete as late as 12/30 who were admitted in the first (late Jan) round. There were also admits who went complete earlier (Nov, Oct), but didn't find out until Feb or Mar. So draw whatever conclusions you want from that.twinkletoes16 wrote:az21833 wrote:what is TCR for the submit date cutoff between this wave and the next... historically. 12/1?

I live in Manhattan and the mail arrived, but all my roommates are out and they are the ones with the mail keys.
Roommate arrived home, letter was in the mailbox! I was worried nothing would be there since the mailbox is so tiny, but the mailman managed to squeeze it in.
For those wondering:
1. Pin number is a completely random 5-digit number. Nothing to do with SSN, LSAC number, etc.
2. Application submitted 12/6, application complete email received 1/3.

Any evidence for this assertion, or are we just being super optimistic? =Daz21833 wrote:That has to be the cutoff. Im early jan submit so im safe.

In CA, complete on 1/14, so doubtful that I receive a packet on Tuesday, but I'm still hoping for it and checking my mail as soon as it's delivered each day.

I wish I could be excited about VCEs, but after receiving a request for fall grades last week I'm 99% sure I'm not getting a decision anytime soon.

+1 i'm off on tuesday and the mailman is already weirded out by me. I just sit on our porch and stare until he gets there, then run down dramatically with my mailbox key as he pulls away.
