I actually was left with the opposite opinion. It has nothing to do with NYU though. This may be sacrilege, but I just realized I'm not in love with New York. I really like New York, and I had a great time. But when I think about staying there for 3 years (and possibly more) I kind of feel like I may be forcing a square peg into a circular hole

Haha no I'm just happy to read that! I'm just waiting on fin aid from CLS and then I'm depositing!

I'm basically sure I'm going to NYU next year. I had a great time and, to be honest it's both my best and only viable option. Once I hear back about financial aid stuff I'm withdrawing everywhere else.

I enjoyed meeting some of you who were at the ASW current student reception thingy yesterday evening. I hope some of you walked away feeling the way I felt about NYU after I attended ASW last year.

Since all ASWs are a hard sell by the school, feel free to ask me questions about how accurate any of the portrayals of info were. I promise to be honest and I won't sugarcoat anything in favor of NYU. I love it here and I think most of you would too.

Had fun mingling with the accepted students at Trionas. As you can see, the school has no problem throwing us all in a room or event together because they are confident that we will be honest about the school, and that the honest picture of NYU is a very good one. Its not like they just hand-picked certain subsets of students to hang out with you guys. We were getting mass emails about free beer and fish tacos! No law student can argue with that. So I hope you guys had a good time, and that you felt the environment was something that meshes with you. I am also happy to answer any Q's via PM.

Someone told me that on Saturday afternoon after the interviews were done, an interviewee got a call from a NY number while waiting for the next panel. Heart in throat he answered, to find that it was a current NYU student congratulating him on his acceptance and asking if he had any questions.
