Is everyone being interviewed considered a "borderline candidate"? I am above the 75th percentile for GPA and above median LSAT, really hoping that isn't the case...

Yep.......... borderline, considering that, given the choice, GULC favors high LSAT over high GPA's..... You won't find to many admitted people with LSAT's below the 170 mark......maybe a few 169's. From what I hear, Cronell's a more favorable place for reverse-splitters like you.

I was part of the 11/16 complete with interview request. Still haven't heard from my interviewer. Is this normal for other folks?

I went complete with an interview request on the 16th as well and I already had my interview. I think others have as well. The email did say it could take up to a few weeks to hear from someone though IIRC. Still, at this point you may want to consider following up with them.

It seems like many of us who are updated as of 11/16 and have interviews are super-splitters.... 174+ LSAT's and GPA's below 3.3. Just had my alum interview today and it was surprisingly smooth............ no wrinkles. Either that means that we, as a group, are almost shoe-in's or destined for the WL pile........ still, it's better than a straight WL/reject.

Hey, People..........

I've been noticing that for this and other threads, there a quite a few who are on their 2nd or 3rd admissions cycle........many of them re-applying, even after they got accepted previously.

I'm wondering why someone would supject himself/herself to this pain (or maybe they're not serious? and want to see the rest of us squirm>) Just seems like these repeaters may be screwing up the numbers for the rest of us. No wonder schools like GULC put out 2500 acceptances just to get an entering class of 500......... Anyone with thoughts?

Bummer I might have to rethink my entire app strategy - I thought being above both medians would have given me a way better chance than this. Thanks for the advice!

My final complete date was 11/21 and the letter was postmarked 11/21 too. It was sent to my international address and my mom called and woke me up at 5:00 this morning to let me know that it had arrived, lol.

Individual from what I can gather, though the email had nothing explicitly saying that. Though, I don't live anywhere near DC, so I don't really understand how I could even do a group interview w/ the admissions dean or whatever the deal is. I guess we'll see. Did you do the interview ?

With a group interview, they'll e-mail you a time and date and ask if you can make it. If they didn't specify that it's a group interview, it probably isn't.

I got my acceptance letter in the mail almost 2 weeks ago, but just got an email from the Dean saying the ASW will be open in December, and a few other random things. I'm assuming everyone else who is accepted will get a similar email soon. Who knows, maybe people who haven't gotten the acceptance in the mail yet will get an email.
