Congrats to everyone. I wonder if they will start moving more files into review now that these schollys are out. I called a few days ago and was told a large percentage of applicants would find out by April 1, in light of seat deposits at other schools. Who knows if that's even remotely true though.

I was reading what is posted in the status checker and at the top it says something like: first round of admit decisions by April 1, all complete apps will have a decision by May 1. So is it safe to assume that those of us stuck at complete are likely WL/reject?

I wouldn't assume that just yet. I've been complete since like December. In-state and above both 75ths.

My tour guide told me she (and many people in her class) did not get their admissions decisions until the first week in April. For whatever reason, UNC seems to operate this way every year. There HAVE to be spaces left if somebody over both 75ths hasn't gotten an admission nod yet.

I called and they said that just because your checker hasn't changed doesn't mean your application hasn't been looked at, it just means a decisions hasn't been made. I guess that's kind of reassuring. Hope I get in this week.
