In case my status won't go blank today/tomorrow, would it mean that I am waitlisted?

I wouldn't go to that conclusion yet. But after speaking w the admissions office various times, I have a feeling you will go blank before the day ends tomorrow.JennyR wrote:In case my status won't go blank today/tomorrow, would it mean that I am waitlisted?

One more day...
btw, when you talked to the admission, did they always say "Good luck" at the end of your conversation? I talked to them maybe twice, and both times our conversation was ended by wishing me luck.

Also still not blank. I am in the 3/10 review group. Hoping / praying for good news from UW. Hopefully soon, but willing to wait for good news (as I am sure we all are).crm wrote:Me Either! This sucks!akili wrote:I am STILL not blank.

I am in the 3/6 IR group....still no blankness here. Right now I am thinking that we are merely looking for correlations in terms of decisions when in reality there most likely are no correlations. I am getting a tad restless though.

Weird, I'm counting and tracking those. Agh, this cycle is making us stoop so low.akili wrote:There is a new rejection for today on LSN

Still IR, UW is definitely looking to add 3 Soc. majors to round out the remaining seats, I just feel it. There is no way my LSAT score could still be hanging around unless it was for admission, and it's no coincidence 3 Soc. majors are still in contention (it's about perspectives re: classroom discussions), come on Akili, PIB, believe with me!!!

Review on 3/6, reverse splitter, URM, finally went blank today. Im not really that interested in the school anymore, unless they give me serious $$$. Do they give scholarship info in the first letter or later?

Re: U Washington
U-Dub is a relatively inexpensive school for in state and out of staters alike. There is a reason why they are stingy with scholarship money. I'd recommend you withdraw.cr073137 wrote:Review on 3/6, reverse splitter, URM, finally went black today. Im not really that interested in the school anymore, unless they give me serious $$$. Re: U Washington
It looks from the accounts here like they have you submit a separate application for scholarships after they accept you. But I'm sure you'd get an offer before long. They're pretty prompt about these things, you know.cr073137 wrote:Review on 3/6, reverse splitter, URM, finally went black today. HOLY HARRY THE HUSKY I JUST WENT BLANK!!!
On a sidebar there is an extra blank line on mailings and letters of recommendation...probably inconsequent.
Let's hope at least one of the sociology Bonklers can get admission!!!

Thanks MBZ. Yes, please, if you are leaning heavily toward attending a different institution, withdraw from UW.MBZags wrote:I withdrew today; I really hope it helps you guys out. Good luck!
UW does not dole out much scholarship money. If you have a scholarship offer at a higher or similarly regarded school, make the prudential decision to attend that school, and please withdraw from UW.
Those of us who are waitlisted will owe you one.

I'm really disappointed, but I’m glad to still be in the fight. Now I just have to make backup plans.

is that still valid this year?yeff wrote:Things may be slightly different this year, but according to their own publication, UW had a nearly 100% acceptance rate for those with 3.75+ and 166+ OR 169+ and 3.5+.
